Lovers of Residential Treasures: LA (FORT: LA) offer locals and others the opportunity to experience and learn about the history of residential architecture in Los Angeles. Compiled by a group of curators known as “trailblazers,” the carefully delineated walkways will highlight LA’s architectural beauty.

For the month of September and to kick off the new offering, international photographer and writer Tim Street-Porter will be opening “Tim’s 20th Century: A Home for Every Decade,” in which the photographer will list his personal selection of LA homes that represent each Decade of the 20th century and how he chose the photographs and structures.

Some of the houses are the Gamble House, Horatio West Court, Millard House (La Miniatura), Dolores Del Rio House, Charles and Ray Eames House, Singleton House, Reiner-Burchill Residence (Silvertop), Gehry Residence , the Schnabel House and the Greenberg House.
