East Los Angeles – Authorities today identified a man who was killed in a shooting in East Los Angeles that injured another man.
The 22-year-old David Castillo from Los Angeles died on Monday at around 5:35 p.m. in the 5600 block of Via Corona Avenue, the Coroner office and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced.
Another victim, a 31-year-old man, was taken to a hospital, according to Deputy Trina Schrader. Details of his condition were not immediately available.
MPs made no arrests in the shooting, Schrader said. No suspicious description was published.
